Optim Energy is a data analytics start-up, focused on the collection of energy consumption parameters. We provide a subscription based, business-to-business solution aimed at energy distributors who have to balance the acquisition of large amounts of energy with the consumption demands of their customers. The tools we provide enable professional acquisition teams to conduct their business optimally with reliable, secure and real-time insight into their consumption and production data. Our flexible and dynamic business model allows our customers to opt-in and scale their analytics infrastructure on-demand with zero investments into web infrastructure or hardware.
How we do it
Optim Energy develops state of the art embedded devices that are capable of real-time data collection and centralization. Our various models are able to connect to our remote servers via ethernet, wi-fi or mobile connectivity like 3G. Once the data is reported, our cloud based infrastructure stores and aggregates the information for further analysis. Finally, our end users can access and refine the data through our web application, which provides a wide array of analytics tools. High availability is a core attribute, our services being globally accessible 24/7.

Having established and managed multiple businesses in transport infrastructure and construction technology, Alexandru runs the daily operations of our company. Employing his experience in production design and quality control he pushes the boundaries of our commercial activity.
Bogdan Muresan - Chief Software Engineer
Responsible with our web infrastructure, Bogdan brings in the expertise of large scale software productions. With a Computer Science degree from Cambridge, Bogdan has spent his career in Web and Game Development within international companies in Romania and Canada.
Gyozo Szabo - Chief Electronics Engineer
With 20 years of experience in Electronics Engineering, Gyozo is our lead expert in embedded devices. Being the architect of our proprietary hardware, he is responsible with the communication, security and optimal operation of our data acquisition devices.
